Maybe this...the notch sits against the motor mount.

the firewall and rad support are drying , fresh glued.

Look what I have to do to make a dash fit....garbage fit.

Well after some lunch and some patience I figured out the slots that the dash sits in have to be cut to lower it that it doesnt hit the windshield.

Perhaps the windshield is not seated properly? I did not have to do any dash modifications on the one I built. I’ve found that test fitting and test fitting again can avoid a lot of issues.

I checked mine and there is no steering box.😳 I must have lost it or something? It looks like you have it installed correctly though.

Windshield seated perfect.

It's called quality control.
