Don Garlits' Swamp Rat 30

Here we have one of my favorite drag cars of all time, driven by one of the greats, Big Daddy Don Garlits. 
Big Daddy is an innovator and this car is no exception. Featuring a radical streamline design unlike anything before. Google Swamp Rat 29 and you will see it looked drastically different. Swamp Rat 30 was the first dragster over 270mph and Big Daddy won the 1986 Nhra championship in this car. 
The kit is the old Revell kit from the 80s. I built this approx 15 years ago and it's holding up well! The engine plumbing isn't super accurate but it looks the part sitting on my shelf. This is the first kit I used micro mesh polishing on.

Sir, I have 2 of these kits..I recently purchase an Atlantis qkit..You did an excellent job on your build..Really nice build on a HOF car and driver..Job well done.
