Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I printed this from the Andrey Bezrodny/coachbuilders.ua file. The body is Tamiya TS-45 Pearl White, TS-7 Racing White on the roof, and Krylon Satin Burgundy for the interior. I'm not happy with how the Krylon sprayed. Very thin and runny. The 24" spokes are from the Revell Escalade 2 'N 1 kit, mounted on 'Vogue' tires I designed and printed. The crests and scripts were added with 3D Builder, and I used a few PE parts from Detail Junkees (great stuff and I hope he can get back up and running soon). I saw something similar to this on social media and it reminded me of the Buick 225 my friend had way back in the 1900s. Far from perfect, but a reasonable facsimile and I just had to get it out of my head. Thanks for looking, and let me know what you think. 19 1
Coyote_6 Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Unique and clean. Color choices spot on! I love it!! Sweet chrome too. Just right on all counts. Steve 1
Falcon Ranchero Posted August 29 Posted August 29 That looks really great; I did a 1983 Cadillac also but I converted Revell’s low rider kit to stock 1983, which is way easier said than done. Should’ve just got this printed model and saved a week of sanding and using filler. 1
ford fan Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Oh !!! What a splendid model ! I really like it a lot. The burgundy interior perfectly matches the white body. 1
Cool Hand Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Very impressive build. Excellent example of how advanced the hobby has become with 3D printing. 1

shoopdog Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Very nice looking Caddy. I worked at a Cadillac dealership for 43 years and saw my fair share of Vogue Tyres and wire rims. Well done! 1

At least with my prints, there's quite a bit of sanding, but still easier than trying to get the Revell kit converted. Yes, I tried and gave up. 1

Growing up in NY in the '70s, I got very familiar with "Trues and Vogues" (15" Cragar Truespoke Starwire rims mounted on Vogue tires). Thank you
slusher Posted Tuesday at 10:36 AM Posted Tuesday at 10:36 AM Beautiful Cadillac and very cleanly built! 1
