hedotwo Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Wondering how small 3d printed letters and numbers are achievable and would be available for sale? I've seen some at 3mm. Rich

I've seen some of the bodies he prints out with emblems and scripts. If you are looking for individual scripts He might be able to advise you on sources for emblems and scripts.

my66s55 Posted Sunday at 07:44 PM Posted Sunday at 07:44 PM Scripts on 3d files are not easily created because they need a backing. in other words, something to hold them together. Contacting Bill is fruitless because what you want isn't possible. I"ve been 3d printing since December 2015. I've helped Bill get started in 3d printing since he started getting into it. He's advancing quite well, but is still in the early stages. He has a ways to go before he reaches where I am.

Beans Posted Monday at 03:32 PM Posted Monday at 03:32 PM These guys can do it for seat belts. https://www.kitsworld.co.uk/index.php?CATEGORY=9&SUB=12 The depth isn't super pronounced but pronounced enough that there is a 3D affect. Should be doable for emblems. Water slide 3D emblems would be great. Not sure what process they use for printing.

It's still very difficult to do. If the script is tied together, than it's easier. Here is some examples of scripts on my project files. The names tied together are simpler to print and attach. Can you imagine how long and tedious it would be to do the Belvedere name?
