I have all three of the Revell Tri-Five kits and am quite familiar with the offset. I threw that figure out there in order to get you to post specific dimensions. It worked. Because God forbid you should try to ask politely…

The question wouldn't have been necessary in the first place if you would have been thorough and posted ALL of the relevant dimensions in your first post on the matter. Measure twice, cut once, Chief.
stavanzer Posted yesterday at 12:11 AM Posted yesterday at 12:11 AM I am worried about the tires Atlantis will use in this kit. I have not liked the new tires they have tooled up for these older Revell kits. The Dimensions, and Sidewall to Tread ratios are off, and lead to tires that are too wide looking and have funky proportions. Truthfully, HPIguy's review of the kit, and photos of tires will be the deciding factor on whether I get one. I want the kit, but don't want to have to buy extra tires, just to build it...... TLDR: Atlantis new tires are no good. 1

Measure twice, cut once, Chief. Just a friendly reminder that not all members of the forum happen spend their entire life online or live in your time-zone (part of the world for that matter). My reply to the intial question contained an accurate overall measurement and instructions to use the framerails as guide for narrowing the floorpan. All pretty basic measuring and math, most would agree... But I see how laziness is justified cause to derail the discussion with nonsense, over an issue you were already aware of. 2

After going back and reading the entire thread, I realized I'm guilty here of what frustrates me about other guys' responses sometimes, i.e. not reading every post thoroughly prior to making a comment or criticism or asking a question about something that was already covered. I see that you did in fact provide sufficient info for any reasonably competent modeler to be able to go from there. I don't like to be the dumb guy, but when I am, I try to admit it. 3 1
