Alan Barton Posted Thursday at 06:50 AM Posted Thursday at 06:50 AM Hi everyone, After having an amazing trip to the USA and Canada for an 11 week roadtrip, I was really keen to tell you about my travels. Unfortunately, while away, Hotmail chucked a hissy fit, said I had unusual activity on my account and froze it. I have been trying for months now to recover my account but am stuck in a revolving door that takes me nowhere. What has this got to do with anything? Well, I posted a number of replies to members last Friday but when I came to have a look on Monday, I found I was logged out ( something I normally never ever do) and couldn't access anything. When I went to change my password, it wanted to send a recovery email to - you guessed it- my frozen Hotmail account. After much pondering, and being unable to contact administrators while locked out, I decided the only way around it was to open a new account. I've been here for approximately 30 years and love the place. My primary interest is hot rods, followed by dirt track racers, nostalgic drag racing, salt lake racers and Aussie cars. So alan barton has left the building, Alan Barton 2 is alive and well! Cheers Alan
Bainford Posted Thursday at 01:50 PM Posted Thursday at 01:50 PM Well, that's a bummer, but good to have you back. Sounds like a heck of a road trip. What parts of Canada did you make it to?
STU111 Posted Friday at 12:41 PM Posted Friday at 12:41 PM G’day Alan. Looking forward to seeing your work on the forum. Good to see another Aussie here. Thanks for the kind words regarding my recent HQ build, it went together really nicely and I enjoyed it. Got a few more DDA kits in the stash, so you’ll see a few more of these from me. 👍🏻
Zippi Posted Sunday at 11:05 AM Posted Sunday at 11:05 AM I'd hate to go through everything that you've been through Alan but looks like Dave A. has you back up and going.
