I seem to remember that there is only one rear light in the kit (check the instruktions so you don't have to waste time looking for it). Wow....now this is a blast from the past. I remember Dave Wilder (#7) and John Gimmell (#8) from my time doing contract work for AMT in the mid 1970s.....and of course we all know John Mueller (#5) for his work through the end of the 1990s....this advert is a great find for the history of the hobby! Th for posting, Ulf...TB

I could carve a trench for it to sit in but getting it to NOT look “wavy” might be a challenge which is why I’d prefer to make some half round if if possible. The pedals are definitely being deleted.😬 Greg....I commend you for addressing that iffy body to fender fit (great solution) and the missing beads on the side of the cowl panel....good luck with finishing the project....TB

Unfortunately AMT shorted the wheelbase by four inches on this kit and stretching it is not feasible, so it will never look as sleek as it should.😕 I’ll do my best to put a decent paint job on it so I can put it on the shelf.
stavanzer Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I built a Gasser out of my Cabriolet. I was unskilled enough in the Hobby that I neither knew nor cared about the issues you have encountered. All I knew was that it built great, once I left the front fenders off. Everything but the Front wheels, and Blower Scoop were OOB. I need to dig it out an restore it.
Straightliner59 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Love it. Great color combo, on the interior! Wheels and tires look sweet, too. Nice work, Greg.
