Marc Weller Posted Wednesday at 03:06 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:06 PM If the AMT Malco Gasser ’33 Willys and Trophy Series ’32 Vicky had a baby it might look something like this. I honestly thought this would be a simple merger. The wheelbase looked about the same and it seemed like there would be ample room between the fenders for that awesome cammer. Is anything ever easy in this hobby $$!! Many trial fits and alterations later here is the result. The frame has been shortened and reverse “Z’d”, the motor mounts relocated a dozen times. Shout out to Jameston at Scalefinishes for the awesome House of Kolor Fort Knox pearl finish. One of the inspirations for this model was a gold pearl Fiat altered with blue plexi windows. Oh well, on to the next project !! 1
Kanada Kustoms Posted Wednesday at 03:10 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:10 PM (edited) The stance is right on, engine looks cool... Bad to the bone! Edited Wednesday at 03:11 PM by Kanada Kustoms
dphipps Posted Wednesday at 09:25 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:25 PM Looks awesome. That blue plexi rad filler piece and mirrored firewall are killer
tim boyd Posted Wednesday at 10:13 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:13 PM Heh Marc....really tasty and really nicely done. And oh so true about kitbashes that sound simple and are anything but. However, 12 times on the engine mounts? That's a kitbashing challenge record even I don't think I could beat. Way to go to keep at it and bring it home....TIM 1

Zippi Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I'm diggin the 32 Gasser there Marc. That Fort Knox pearl finish looks pretty kewl.
M W Elky Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Your Vicky is just beautiful I’m really liking the gold finish and the choice of parts . I built one in the mid 80’s by bashing the Vicky with one of my other favorites the 37 Chevy . I think the Willy’s kit would also make for a good Vicky kit bash project
