Mothersworry Posted November 14 Posted November 14 (edited) Tasca Ford '63 Galaxie lightweight, built as a curbside. Fixed the taillights and a few other things. Edited November 14 by Mothersworry 17
M W Elky Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Man talking about looking great from every angle this one checks all the box’s . Fabulous interior by the way most accurate
Dragline Posted November 14 Posted November 14 I was good friends with mechanic on Tasca cars John Healey. He worked as a driver at NAPA Seekonk Ma. We talked racing for hour after hour. He is in the New England Drag Racing HOF. Prudhomme was the keynote speaker at his inauguration. John was well loved and was a super dude..much missed John Healey R.I.P.
papajohn97 Posted November 15 Posted November 15 I second the motion on Mike Elky's comments! Totally awesome build using a 60 yr old tooled kit (AMT I assume). What interior tub did you use to get that accurate hardtop interior (with the total width back seat) and the Bostrum front seats (scratch-built?). Are those "Galaxie" front & rear letters from a MCG photoetch set? Occasionally I see builds posted here that are so beautiful that I want to totally copy them; this is one of those builds. Bravo!
Maurice Henderson Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Sir, for this to be a curbside you definitely hit it out the park..That interior is banging..Job well done my friend, Job well done!!!
Mike 1017 Posted November 15 Posted November 15 This a great build. I have one in my stash a Drag Racer maybe in its future
ford fan Posted November 16 Posted November 16 A killer !!! Congratulations, this model is fabulous ! I plan to build as many TASCA cars as I can depending on what is available, your build is a great motivation.
Brutalform Posted Sunday at 05:11 PM Posted Sunday at 05:11 PM I was following your build thread on this car. I still can’t get over how fantastic everything looks on this car. That interior, with the black floor looks dead on perfect. Even as a curbside, this is one spectacular build.
bogger44 Posted Monday at 10:25 PM Posted Monday at 10:25 PM You did excellent work on the miles of chrome on this, not a fun task. Build looks killer from every aspect.
Bainford Posted Thursday at 03:39 AM Posted Thursday at 03:39 AM (edited) I have to agree with everything said above. That's one cool Ford. Beautiful work on this. Nice & clean with a fantastic period vibe. Very well done. Edited Thursday at 03:41 AM by Bainford
