Mike 1017 Posted Saturday at 03:20 PM Posted Saturday at 03:20 PM IMO The Greatest Modern Day Drag Racer Ever. John Force Announces Retirement from Racing 1
bobthehobbyguy Posted Saturday at 03:30 PM Posted Saturday at 03:30 PM A well deserved retirement. Glad to see he realized this was the time to retire. Rooting for Austin Prock to win another championship for JFR. 1
TonyK Posted Saturday at 03:46 PM Posted Saturday at 03:46 PM Happy to read his statement the other day. It's sad but had to happen eventually and glad he's in good health.
TarheelRick Posted Saturday at 03:51 PM Posted Saturday at 03:51 PM With Brittany stepping away from Top Fuel and John Force retiring it is going to be strange not having a Force on the dragstrip. Hope Prock can pull off the championship. Anyone heard of who may be filling Brittany's seat in the fueler?

NYLIBUD Posted Sunday at 06:42 PM Posted Sunday at 06:42 PM Wow,I never thought he would retire.Started watching him race back in the 80s as a teenager.Him,and Bernstein were my favorite drivers, them and Bob Glidden(RIP).Anyway,I guess the Mrs.Force might have had something to do with it.🤔I met him at E town,he signed my NHRA banner. And I still have it…The man was never short of words.😁

FoMoCo66 Posted Monday at 03:03 AM Posted Monday at 03:03 AM Seeing as to how many near death experiences he has had, I'd say he's one lucky cat. 2
bobss396 Posted yesterday at 03:13 PM Posted yesterday at 03:13 PM Good for him. He has nothing to prove to anyone. A good buddy of mine was on the dirt bike circuit, really serious stuff. He related to me that once you have a serious injury, most lose their edge. Look at NASCAR, drivers like Darrell Waltrip, Richard Petty, Bill Elliott were not as competitive after recovering from wreck injuries. Things like broken thigh bones just may do that to a driver.
Beans Posted yesterday at 08:55 PM Posted yesterday at 08:55 PM Always loved watching the Forces race. Met him a couple times over the years. All the grand kids are still pretty young but I wouldn't be surprised to see another Force racing someday.
