drodg Posted Friday at 03:24 PM Posted Friday at 03:24 PM I just finished this up yesterday morning. This is a Marsh Models 289 Cobra 1/43 scale. Very nice kit but did use some parts from the Monogram 1/43 Cobra kit like the windshield. The wheels are beautiful and overall just a great resin kit. I used Tamiya British green for paint. I love building 1/43rds from time to time but at 68 not sure how much longer I can deal with tiny parts like hood hinges on this kit. Thanks for looking and comments . 11
Jim B Posted Friday at 05:07 PM Posted Friday at 05:07 PM Great looking Cobra in such a small scale. Well done.
Brudda Posted Friday at 05:29 PM Posted Friday at 05:29 PM Fantastic sir! Last year I bought the monogram 1/43 corvette ant a swap meet for $2 and built her. It was great fun to build. I did build the monogram cobra and that was a fun build. A few weeks ago at the Fremont contest , I bought 3 f1 kits in 1/43. I did not realize that these little gems cost . Bought them at a great price, and they are detailed. I hope my eyesight holds on so I can build these. Your build is fantastic. Love the color! 1

Good luck with the builds and I do remember your Monogram 1/43 build of both cars. The F1 cars are a bit challenging but they are beautiful finished. Thank you
meechum68 Posted Friday at 09:13 PM Posted Friday at 09:13 PM Excellent looking Cobra! That green looks fantastic on it.
Cosmic D Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Beautiful build - I didn't switch to a larger scale until I was 70 - hang in there.
OldSkool81 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago First off, absolutely beautiful work and results! Second, hats off to you; I'd never be able to build one of those 1/43 kits... When I was a teen, I had shaky hands, but pretty much microscopes for eyes, being literally able to clearly read a book with the tip of my nose touching the page. Now I'm 44, my hands are now steady, but my eyes now suck at seeing far or really close hahaha!!!🤣😅🥲
