Started this one last week.

Its the amt super stock bel aire.

Wheels and tires from '30 ford woody from Revell, Seats also from Revell out of the '06 shelby gt-h.

Im still undecided about the motor/tranny combo.

Here are some more progress pics.

Wheels fitted, seats installed, rear bumper...

going with the 409 and 4 speed as supplied in the kit.

Looking good Jim. Sh1t, how big is that garage diorama you have the cars in? Bloody HUGE! B)

I wish I had room for a garage like that. Our real garage is small enough as it is. Maybe a hanging deal like the railroad guys do? Hmm..

Hanging might be the way to go. might help keep down on the dust too.

Jim, I finially quit ten years ago ! I had smoked steady since I was 14 too. Today im 59. try the patch and perhaps a support group . Do tings that would prevent ypoufrom being able to have a cigarette from time to time to get the body away from the addiction . Listen I know as I was a very bad child growing up too! Ed Shaver

Not to side track you,but i was woundering in that great lookin shop is that a ford maveric or a chevy vega just woundering.

Nice work Jim! that is one sweet hot rod! And if you dont mind, i think im gonna use the idea of the two-tone seats. Myself, I am painting a 69 chevy mustang. great work!

Chevy Mustang ???!!!!! I have seen that term in print since 1967 when somebody saw the first Camaro!

Great job on the Impala! I'm looking forward to seeing this one finished.
