Looks kinda like a half baked Mad Max Interceptor ripoff to my eyes. But they aren't very sharp either [my eyes].

It looks like customized '73 Mustang. Whatever it is, it's cool.

MrObsessive, I think Ford called it a mess but seriously that is one coockoo car and who would be dumb enough to chop a Mustang and custum the rest of the body.

Man I'm glad you said somethin Bill. It DOES look like the AMT kit called the Mach One, but the front end looks different. More like the IMC Mustang model. The one in question looks like an import kit. B)

I was thinking that too George with it being motorized and all. Also the AMT and IMC kits didn't have opening doors..............(well the IMC kit MAY have......).

The odd scale is a giveaway too that it might be an import. B)

Just ventureing a guess, but from the looks of the chassis, bein equipped for a motor, could it be an old Otaki kit, or possibly an Arrii kit?

That was a Ford show car from 1968 called the Mach I (now you know where the name came from for the '69). I like the front- very reminiscent of the '63 Mustang II.

I liked the first version of the Mach I better. The front looked more like a normal 67 or 68 Mustang, but it had oval headlights. There was an AMT kit of the first mach, very hard to find these days. I have a built one somewhere.
