Phil, it's lookin REALLY good! The chrome on them wasn't alot, but VERY tastefully done, and you handled it PERFECTLY! It' does look really nice as it is, Too bad they din't make nice custom wheels like that in the 60's all we had were like Chrome reverse,or Cragars, or stuff like that. But those wheels look REAL good on that ride!!!:blink:

As Steve said, the suicide door Lincoln Sedans (1961 thru 1969) were marketed by AMT, and never re-released. Unbuilt examples are fairly expensive, but the '65 Convertible has been re-released, and would be the least expensive way to go with this. Missing Link Resin had a '65 Sedan body in their line to combine with the '65 Convertible kit. I am not sure if it is currently available, but if you contact them, they will gladly give you an answer. The quality of their products is top notch, so you can buy with confidence.

I did a replica stock '61 and '67 Sedan.

I have all of the AMT '61-'69 Lincoln kits in my stash, as it is one of my favorites, and no, I do not plan to sell any of them. If I do, Phil gets first dibs, as he has asked me on several occaisions.

AMT also did promos- I have a '66 (or is it '67... man, I'll have to go look now!) four-door promo. No engine, but hey, that means you can spend more time on the body! I could've gotten a '69 kit awhile back for $20 (started but never finished), but somebody else swooped in at the last minute! Story of my life...

I'd really like to find another '66 or '67 so I can do it up as a two door. the '66 and '67 cars were similar, bodywise, and it was one of those two years that was the first for a two-door in this generation Lincoln Continental. The promo I have has been in the family since it was new, so I'm not cutting into that one!

I've got the '65 kit, as well as the Monogram '41 and the Lindberg '48. Other than the hard to find originals like this one I'm so jealous of you for having  , they're about all you can get as far as bi-scale Lincoln kits. I've given up all hope on ever seeing a kit of an '80-'89, '90-'97, or '98-up Town Car, or a '93 MKVIII. No Navigator kits, either! Why is the world the way it is...

Now, I'm just gonna shut up and enjoy the finished build... love it! Thinking of dusting off one of my 20 or 30 '65 kits and hitting the bench now!

Usually not my deal, Phil, but I must say yours came out quite nicely and it's definitely something you can be proud of.

Nice rep-stocks, too, Ron. I love the 1961-69 Continentals. One of those has been on my "gotta have one in 1:1" list for a long time.
