MrObsessive Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Fellas, if you haven't seen it yet, you've got to check out this auction on the 'Bay. Now I know folks can sell just about anything (including themselves ) but when you put up something that's somewhat intangible as this.............well what can I say? ..............and the fact that folks are willing to spend THOUSANDS on this makes me wonder if the economy is as bad as they say it is. Anyway check the link below........ http://snipurl.com/olkkg Unbelievable!
Harry P. Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Just further proof that the "more money than brains" crowd is alive and well...
Jon Cole Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 It's a great phone number if your name is Jenny Jenny
MikeMc Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 The scary thing is that I REMEMBER this # and do not know my own cell #( I don't call myself!)
Custom Hearse Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Caller: Is Jenny there? # owner: No she's not. Caller: Who is this? # owner: This is her ax wielding, machine gunning, homicidal, mass murdering husband, who is tracing your call.... O.K., got it! I'll be there in ten minutes....
James Flowers Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 As the song out now says "God is great, Beer is good and People are crazy". How true.
RJWood Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 When the buyer wins it, I think I will call with an offer for an amazing opportunity to own a piece of California real estate.
charlzrocks Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 When the buyer wins it, I think I will call with an offer for an amazing opportunity to own a piece of California real estate. OMG are they out of their minds? Five large for a freakin phone number? For that price they better be including Jenny!
Harry P. Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 OMG are they out of their minds? Five large for a freakin phone number? For that price they better be including Jenny! Careful what you wish for... Jenny is a lot older these days...
nitrojunkie Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 (edited) Even if she did come with the package you may not want all that comes with her! Mark thats a piece of hometown trivia I did not know; as far as the free concert. Edited August 3, 2009 by nitrojunkie
Harry P. Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 From songfacts.com: In 2004, after laws passed allowing people to keep their phone numbers when they changed carriers, a man in New York tried to sell the number 212-867-5309 on Ebay. He got a lot of media attention and bidding got up to $80,000 before Ebay canceled the auction, since phone numbers are not technically owned by their users. BTW... is it just me, or is "867-5309" a slightly slowed-down ripoff of the Romantics' "What I Like About You?'
vizio93 Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 wow i would hate to have that #. every time that the radio in philli play's that the phone will be ringin' off the hook.
Joe Handley Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Wow, I've wasted money in my day, but that's nearly tops the list of dumb things to pay that much money for!
diymirage Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 ive seen worse there was this one girl a while ago who sold her own virginity on the 'bay and there was this guy who sold his forehead for a month as advertisement space (he put a henna tattoo on there based on the buyer choosing) also, i think some guy tried selling a classis fender airguitar on there
