Trans Am Erik
What to do with one of the Monogram cars with the warped roof?
RodneyBad
The chop looks. Don't think I've seen a convertible charger. Might want to try a bigger boot tho. Maybe off the 68/69 roadrunner/gtx be more it's size? Nice looking DOH in the back ground too.

MrObsessive
Wow! This is a neat conversion! This would have made a sharper looking convertible than the regular Dodge Coronet IMO. Ditto on using a larger boot...........I'd extend the tulip panel back a few scale inches. But then it IS a concept........who says it has to have a functional folding top? george 53
Back in High School, A freind of mine,Lonnie Darton, had a BRAND NEW 69 Dodge Coronet R/T convertable that was about 2 months old when the got into a wreck. He had the WHOLE front end replaced with the sheetmetal from a 69 Charger, it TOTALLY interchanged with the stock front end, a VIOLA! a Charger Convertable!!! The ONLY dif was it didnt have the sculpted vents in the doors, but the 3 laser type tailights (that's what I call 'em) of the Coronet flowed PERFECTLY with the lines of the car! It WAS BEAUTIFUL, and I've NEVER seen another one. Just photo shop the Charger front onto a Coronet body an you'll see just how well it flowed, and HOW NICE it looked!!! Too bad Chrysler din't try it, they'da sold a ton of 'em!

GENERAL LEE
Well, now that I figured out my password, I'm taking over the thread on my car! I did some browsing for Chargers and ran across a model of a red '69 Charger convertible!! It was built as a factory concept car, stock other than the top. So I decided to take my car in another direction. It will be a modern supercar convertible Charger. It will have a Viper drive train and complete Viper suspension. What do you guys think? Jantrix
Wow. That looks VERY promising.
GENERAL LEE
The frame is just about finished. I'm just mocking it up to see how it sits.

charlie8575
Interesting concept. It is too bad that Chrysler didn't go with the Charger instead of the Coronet, I don't see it having been too bad a problem engineering-wise. I've never seen pictures of a Charger convertible, factory prototype or otherwise, I'll have to go look for it. Charlie Larkin

Trans Am Erik
She came out real good! Nice job on the 2-tone too. I like it with the Viper suspension and drivetrain rather than stock just with the convertible top.
george 53
Eric's right Brian. The Viper chassis an suspension just add iceing to the cake! now that it's done,it just flows together so nicely. just a shame you weren't on the Charger design team!!! It came out GREAT!
