after the finishing the eleanor now it´s time for the next project.

this impala cames from this kit:

so beautiful the quality of this old monogram kits !!!!

the first paint job is done and i think for this design:

what do you think about the stance and the look?

Oh my, that is beautiful !!!!I love the paint color and a great job on the applying the paint also. What color and brand is the paint? The wheels just set it all off and they just pop !!! I love it man.

Nice clean build. The interior looks great and spotless! I can't wait to see this one finished. The 65 is just about my favorite Impala. I sure wish that I would have picked up a couple of those kits when they were out.

I am just about finished with the 68 Firebird. I should be done either tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for the reference photos of yours.

@Modlbldr: i´m happy to see your firebird pics. i will built my 1:1 next year as a model.

@Dukefan69': the bat comes from myshelf. i turned it out of a toothpick.

Boy this bring back memories for my dad. He used to have a '65 Impala but not a 396. It was almost the same color too. Beautiful build. Looking forward to seeing more. BTW, would you be willing to make a couple more bats? I wouldn't mind having one or two for a couple of builds I have.

Guten tag Juergen. Yes I can speak some german. Maybe not as good as english.... Your project is very nice looking! The '65-'66 Impala have always been one of my favorite cars. Those wheels you have, what are they? They look very much alike a set I have: Pegasus Dz's, but mine are gold, 19' Maybe I should try a similar build with these gold wheels.....?

the next steps are down. the chassis is painted:

the motor gets his place in the chassis. the next work is detailing the motor and it´s parts and then i can pass it together and hope to can finish it in the next few days.
