kerc Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 So this was built like five years ago, originally intended to be sort of pro-touring style but ended up looking DONK...So today I had a revelation at the office... Ripped the wheels and tires from another model that was rather meh, prepped the stance, and slapped it all together in 45 miuntes. By the way, it took that long because this is the worst-assembling kit EVER. Finish is the original plastic, polished and Future'd. And yes, the wheels are bright orange, but somehow it all works. The foiling is a bit messed (five years and a move from Puerto Rico to San Antonio), but I'm not in the mood of redoing it right now...It looks better in person than in the pics. Dang it looks neat. 1
george 53 Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Looks good ta me,Jose! Bet theres more than one of them things runnin round down there in San Anto! I remember seein LOTS of OOOOLLLLDDDD cars down there! My Grandparents(all 4 of them) an Mom and Dad are from there. Gotta lotta pleasant memories from there.
Rob Hall Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Cool Rambler...that color reminds me of the color of the '66 Rambler Classic my grandpa had in the mid to late '70s...he and grandma would come up from Kentucky and visit us in Ohio; my Dad would always dump several quarts of oil in it, it smoked.
RodneyBad Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 (edited) Great looking Rambler.. Nice BMF, Stance and wheel combo Edited November 10, 2009 by Zukiholic
Foxer Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 That plastic looks amazing with just polish. An unusual color. This looks just like some kids first hubcap adjustment to his "new" Grandpa's Rambler! .. love it!

I wasn't raised in the getto even though Ive had to live in several dives . You are to be comended ! Ed Shaver My Grandmother had one of these in the late 60s. I borrowed it regularly to go "up town". It got wrecked one night on the way home by a '67 SS 396 Chevelle. The seats would all fold down flat. My sex addicted girlfriend of the day & I used it many times for our forays into teenage sex. Not most peoples definition of a love machine, but it was all we needed. Gary
Harold Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Ramblers rock. Especially the late 50's and early sixties Cross Country wagons. Good save.
Janne Herajärvi Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Great save! Donks are weirdest building way for cars in this planet, or maybe those Japanese things are more stranger Great, i want see more wagons
