Hey all, I had to change my username from James Tester to Moparbuilder (I hope you all understand ha ha).

This is the Pro-Modeler version of the 1958 Corvette. I used some Cobra Colors GM Flame red paint I had laying around on the body and interior. The body was covered with 2 coats of PPG Urethane clear and the interior is bare lacquer color. I built this car box stock and tried to focus on the basics. Let me know what you all think.

James, that is a beautiful build. The paint looks flawless and the BMF trim looks great . A couple of floppy seatbelts, an antenna on the rear fender and it would be hard to tell that this is a model. I built this kit when it first came out and it is one of the very few "straight up" stock cars I have built. I did mine in Turquoise with white trim. Yours looks great in red on red.

James, I think you need to build more Corvettes! I guess I'm just partial, though! Great paint and interior, and you can never go wrong with red on Chevrolets' finest! Good job! Are there any build options in this kit or is it pretty much stock?

Beautiful! The kit has carberated and fuel injection options, stock wheels and chrome baby mooned wheels.

Nice build! I really liked the kit. I built mine in gold, with red side scoops, and a daily driver theme, with some weathering, red steel wheels. The luggage on the decal sheet was a neat touch, too!

Well done James ...... I'm looking forward to seeing it at our next NCAM meeting. Don't forget the date is changed to the 16th.
