Merkur XR4Ti Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Just picked up mine yesterday. Your builds have certainly been an inspiration. Thanks again!
FordWagonNut Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 I'm getting one come tax refund. Wow! I love 1968-72 Cutlasses, and I can't wait for this one to be on my shelf...I'm considering swapping out some of the 442 parts and making it standard Supreme, but I'll see when I get one. Charlie Larkin I think I'm gona go that route myself.

The historic problem with convertible kits in the past, especially since the windshield frames have always been molded as part of the body shell, they bend, they break, they fracture! Fixing the broken or bent parts has always been a chore. With the new Revell approach the old situation is no more!<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> Not only that, but Revell's treatment relieves the modeler of the tedium of having to BMF the windshield frame, which is certainly appreciated. Great work, guys! Haven't decided how I'm gonna build mine yet, but I'm leaning toward a Viking Blue 442! <img src="http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> That blue sounds pretty good, would you use the white stripes from the kit or make your own?

Tony T Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Doesn't take much to kill links from photo hosting...just need to edit an album and the links die off. Not unusual for a thread from nearly two years ago.
