HauntFreaks Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 picked up a built 1977 Chevy Chevette... tore it down molded in an outlaw cowl hood... re-shot it in flaming orange paint... added some Yenko stripes... heres some pics
Smart-Resins Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 That looks terrific! It should be a blast to watch it scream down the dtrack! LOL. Jody
lusenut2 Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I saw this on the club400 forum. I think it looks awesome.
Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 That's cool!!! And, you just gave me the sick idea of using the Yenko decals on my Chevette when I build it. They look like they belong!!!
george 53 Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Nice thing about startin with a promo, that plastics harder than regular styrene an can take a few tumbles better without crackin!!! Great Build, it really looks GOOD!!!!
Ariel Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 If you painted it black it would look like the one from the muffler shop around the corner from you

Osku Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 That's one wicked Chevette Haunt. The Yenko stripes sure look like they belong there. -Osku
HauntFreaks Posted December 3, 2009 Author Posted December 3, 2009 thanks again guys... I had it at the track for the first time last night ... this is a smooth running machine... I turned it down a bit... was doing mid 12's (1.2sec.) in the scale 1/4 mile... full tilt I'm guessing it will do low 11's, good bracket car.
nascarfan12 Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Definitely the coolest Chevette I've ever seen! There is a local car dealer with a 1:1 Chevette for sale near me. I smile every time I see it. Even at 25 MPH it looks like a bondo-buggy.
