Brizio Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 (edited) Some weeks ago I bought this kit in a swap meet. The kit is complete, probably a mix from some other kits for the same model. The chassis and rear axle, gas tank were already painted. But for $20, I though was a deal. So it need some works before start it like I want... This is the kit that I'm talking about. Its funny how I start this one, usually I build the interior after chassis, engine... Some pics from what I did so far... Seats, form I don't remember which car... Interior... I kept the old style steering wheel, because I like it! Inside the sleeper... Probably I will add some other stuff... Any comment are welcome Edited December 9, 2009 by Brizio
Jim B Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Wow! Great details. That interior is amazing.
Aaronw Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I saw the seats over at FSM, but you've done a nice job on the rest too, I really like that dash.
Brizio Posted November 30, 2009 Author Posted November 30, 2009 Thank you guys! This week I hope to finish the engine, and start/finish the chassis... Will see...
Twist67 Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Hi, That´s an very fine looking interior.Keep it up going. Chris
Brizio Posted December 1, 2009 Author Posted December 1, 2009 Thank you! Yesterday I almost finished the engine, soon I'll post some pics of it.
Casey429 Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Lookin' good. I like you attention to detail on the dash. The black/orange scheme has an old skool Harley/Hotrod feel to it and suits it well.
Brizio Posted December 2, 2009 Author Posted December 2, 2009 Thank you Casey429! I love that color combination! I think to keep it outside too. But with a Dupli Color Orange Mist kind of orange-bronze color...
Brizio Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 Some more and slow progress... The engine its done, finally... I though this color (Dupli-Color Orange Mist) was more brilliant, but its darker... The primer on the engine was grey, so probably it made the difference... What do you think?
Brizio Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 Nice! Tha's pretty shiney. Thank you Jim!
Old Albion Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Wow! Never seen a Cummins NTC350 dressed up like that before. Imagine being the one who has to clean it especially after a bad winter. No Thanks! Best Keep it for the show season. The colour combination will look great on the outside of the truck. On my screen it looks more of a bronze colour and will look great with the shiney bits on the truck. Nice Work! Dave
