Wayne Buck Posted February 3, 2010 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Well I got some more work done on the hood, just got it bondo in some, I did make the cowel a little smaller but I kinda liked it the way it was, I still have to add the trim that runs down the midle of the hood. Holy Cowl ! Can't wait to see what's gonna be under that hood! Now I wanna build something with a HUGE motor in it! Lookin' real good so far! Jared Roach Posted February 28, 2010 Share Posted February 28, 2010 Well guys, update! Ok, so while the srt8's interior primer is drying, I deside to work on this. So I got the trunk hinged(3rd time!), inner trunk lid brace done, but I still have to make the latch and stuff and trim it some more, and the trunk floor started, and the cowel hood has to be rebuilt, I droped it, cracked the cowel and broke the hood in two, thank god for 2 part epoxy! slant6 Posted March 6, 2010 Share Posted March 6, 2010 I finally got something done worth posting. This is my first attempt at two tone paint and BMF, so be gentle. I had to redesign the hinges to allow it to open correctly with the grille in place. I used the ends of some 6 amp diode's I snatched from work. They worked out well....so far. I did a headliner too, but I forgot to take a picture, trust me, it looks great. My rollcage ended up not fitting correctly, so I just scrapped it.
