vizio93 Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Hey thats a nice build. Nice and clean welcome to the forum. I agree 100%. I like this build, my Uncle is currently restoring his Nova (either a '72 or '74). Maybe I'll show him this build
charlie8575 Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Very nice job. Novas work well in dark brown with light tan interiors. Charlie Larkin
Mudpit602 Posted December 13, 2009 Author Posted December 13, 2009 You do some really nice work! Thank you. The paint I used is a Med Garnet Red. I put that to gether less then 24 hour for a model car club I joined tonight.
Guest Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Nice work. How the heck did you get the paint to dry enough to handle it that quickly? Secondly, that look like AMT's old kit, seriously, how the heck did you build that in only 1 day?? Or was it 24 hours spread out over time?
MyBradKeselowski Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Very nice build. I like the color you chose. Glad to see you master this AMT kit to a great build, considering the complications of it..
FordWagonNut Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Nice build. I built one a few years ago, that little car put up a fight. Could never fit a few pieces right.....

tuffone20 Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 (edited) Yeah, I couldn't beilive how fast he built it!! I had the kit for about 10 years? or so and Toby came by and found out plans for the club meeting had changed and he didn't have a kit to build, so I sold him the kit and gave him the paint. Not really thinking he would pull it off (knowing what a pain that kit can be, but don't tell him I knew that) but when he texted me a picture of it done that same night!! I was looking at my Galaxie thinking how in the @#**^ did he do that so fast!!! Good job Toby on such a fast build. Marty Edited December 16, 2009 by tuffone20
