HELLO.....MY NAME IS JOHN TERESI........I AM FROM VAN NUY`S CA.........I AM 53 YEARS OLD......I HAVE BEEN MODELING EVER SINCE I WAS A KID......THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS I STARTED GETTING BACK INTO THE HOBBY.......I WOULD BUY MY MODELS AND SUPPLIES AT THE LOCAL "BURBANK HOUSE OF HOBBIES"........MY GOOD FRIEND JOE TENTSCHERT,WHO RECENTLY PASSED ON "R.I.P.".......WORKED THERE.......HE ASKED ONE DAY TO SEE MY WORK......AND WHEN HE SAW IT,HE SAID I SHOULD ENTER IN THE LOCAL MODEL CAR CONTEST........WELL MY FIRST SHOW WAS THE POMONA "GRAND NATIONALS"..........I THANK YOU JOE AND YOU WILL FOR EVER BE IN MY HEART AND PRAYERS.......AS I CONTINUED TO COMPETE AT OTHER SHOWS I MET DARRYL GASSAWAY AND THEN LATTER GREGG HUTCHINGS ......WHO ARE BOTH GREAT GUYS.......THEY PUBLISHED SOME OF MY BUILDS......AND I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR THAT......WELL I GOT THE BUG ,AND HAVE BEEN MODELING NOW STEADY FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS.......I LVV IT......I LIKE TO BUILD DRAG CARS,CUSTOMS AND BIKES......I STARTED POSTING PICTURES YESTERDAY......I AM VERY HAPPY AND THANKFUL FOR ALL THE NICE COMMENTS........ONE FELLOW MCM WAS NOT VERY HAPPY WITH ME......HE ACCUSED ME OF STEALING HIS IDEA OF A BUILD......WELL I ASSURE YOU ALL THAT I DO NOT NEED TO STEAL ANYONES IDEA.....I AM AN HONEST PERSON AND DO NOT NEED TO STEAL ANYBODYS IDEA.......I LUV TO SHARE MY IDEAS AND BUILDS WITH OTHERS.......THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME BE HERE,JOHN

Someone in the drag section posted a picture of you Garlits explosion asking who did it. I let them know it was you and you are a damnn good model builder.

Hello John & Welcome to the forum. I checked out your builds they are very nice, I really like the V-8 Buick bike, toooo cooool. I also saw the merc/caddy build and I really like it as well. From looking at the pics of it and the one you were said to have copied, well all I got to say is they look nothing alike and yours looks to be a far better build as far as having everything / all the custom work flowing together and the paint work is killerrrrrr. Keep posting them builds !!!
