crazyjim Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I'd be glad I was finished too. I can't imagine the time you spent on that thing, but it looks really neat.
Fiction ix Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 wow this is awesome. I have seen some photos of the real life sharpy car. And you have done an amazing job here. Must have took a long time to get this done so clean.
Bernard Kron Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) I'm glad you've got this one off the bench, too - so I can enjoy it! I have no idea how the graphics compare to the original and frankly I couldn't care less whether it's a replica or your own original (in fact I'd prefer if it's your own, I think). A beautifully executed concept and the graphics are a super design. They suit the shape and lines of the car perfectly. Two thumbs up! Question: Given how intricate the design is did you draw it directly on the plastic with a Sharpie? And if so, is it essentially freehand or did you work from prior art? Added later: Just went and looked at the 1:1 again. Your art is your own - and it's great! Edited January 3, 2010 by gbk1

RodneyBad Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I guess you could only do it Free Hand. What Control.. Great work. must've been hard not to smuch up an area during handling it during the process.
Dragline Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I think this is the coolest car I've seen in some time. It has a Joe Satriani vibe going on which I dig. Satch is a Lamborghini fan I think. As an artist, I have tremendous admiration for your patience in doing this. Bob
Matt P Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 This is crazy! Lownslow you're a talented person with the ink. What scale is it?
Lownslow Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 thanks for the comments everyone the car is 1/24
charlzrocks Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 WOW!! That floors me! So totally cool!! Reminds me of guitarist Joe Satriani's hand painted guitar.
John Truby Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 It's like your car took a nap while at the tatoo parlor!! You have an amazing talent, no doubt about it. John
Lownslow Posted January 7, 2010 Author Posted January 7, 2010 pictures updated in first post, i sold the car
Crusader101 Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 The G car is my favorite Lambo....your rendition is a stunner!!!
