It has come to my attention that people think i am egotystical and am full of myself.Everytime i post up my builds, finished kits, and reply to others comments i get nothing more then having dirt thrown in my face and called names.I have a past but thats where it ends with me but there are those that live in the past and continually dig up the bodies of dead horses and beat them somemore.I am here to state that after a buildoff on another forum ends i will perminantly leave LIL and MCM.To those that watch my builds and are lucky enough to live near me and see my stuff at shows you are lucky enough to see future builds. Those that are unlucky and done live near me i appologise maybe you'll see my future builds in magazines.

It is all in your approach kid. Maybe try being a little more humble. Trust me when I say this I was a lot like you back in the day.One more small but valuable piece of advice........don't go callin people out. This is a hobby to have fun with not a competitive full contact sport. I will say this you do have some talent. Keep on building and I will see your name along with the others. We all already know your name from one way or another.

Humilty is clearly not one of your stronger traits. Don't feed the trolls and accept the fact that there will always be someone on the internet who doesn't like what you build or is comfortable telling you exactly what they think of your builds. Are they right? I don't know, but tooting one's own horn from the top of the mountian sure makes one an easy target to knock off.

Listen to those who critique your builds- they're trying to help you build better models, and that's the goal, right?

Chris gives some great advice, The question is, do you have the strength & discipline to exercise it?

Just think about it. How many times have you seen Bill Geary, Dave Susan, Scott Colmer,or Lyle Willits calling people out? You can learn more than how to build a kit from them. You can learn how to be gracious & humble by the way they present themself.

I know I have given you grief about your dealings with others, and I apologise, because you have made good on thoes dealings. But I have never punked you about your builds, because I see talent in them.

You just need to tone down your attitude, thats all. Try it for a while, I know you will see a much better responce to your posts.

One more thing is, running away from anything shows weekness, and we all know your not week.

Stick around and show us what you can do.

Kev, Like Mark said, it IS your decision, but hey, some butthead called ME out just caz he doesn't like me. Heck, I haven't even POSTED ANY MODELS for him to slam, he waz just slammin ME. I ain't goin no where.

Just put on a new attitude(wif respek to da POINTER SISTERS!) an do your thing. Who cares if someone critiques your builds, you DID build them for YOU din'tcha? Not everyone you meet in life is gonna like you, but ya jus gotta keep on truckin, that's just life Bro, ya gotta learn ta deal with it. NO big deal.biggrin.gifwink.gif

Kevin, please go back and re- read Ken and Jeff's comments to you . I read them and beleive me , they wern't being mean in any way ! They were simply made to enable you to become a better overall person son ... Look, we all start from somewhere . In that time hopefully we can allow ourselves some " Listening time ". These people wew simply trying to get you to sit down momentarily and listen . Ed Shaver

Don't you threaten to quit like every 3 months or so? and then return with a big, "I'm back" announcment?..........If you want to quit, then quit. Why do you keep making these big ordeals and threads about it, and just seem to keep going around in circles?

In case you haven't noticed, alot of the flak that you seem to get here has been brought on by yourself, especially with all the rude remarks and the bad trading deals...You can't treat folks like dogs and then expect to just sweep it all under the rug.....Some people are obviously still ticked off at ya.

You have a tarnished reputation here, and it's sticking to you like super glue.....lol.

Hi everyone!....i build for two reasons, it helps pass all the time i have on my hands and for myself because i enjoy it. if someone likes my ideas im happy i could share them with you all. though so far i havent gotten any photos posted yet i would hope someone would enjoy my builds or get ideas from them for there own. im always learning from others comments and ideas as well as photos of there builds,i can find something i like about anyones builds....even if i dont like to build the ones others do enjoy building....everyone has their own area they love...we all share one thing, the love of building. every build ive seen on here shows talent, some builders have more experience and budget than others but that really dosent have anything to do with one being better than others to me....i think there all good considering ones experience level and budget they have to work with.

I was gonna say something and I forgot what it was.Oh yeah no,no please don't go.Or was it? ok,see ya round. What is it that you want people to say? When you get my age you will understand .It doesn't matter what others think of you Or what they say about you.If ya leave, there are alot of great builders to check out.If ya stay then maybe you'll be lucky enough, for me to check out your builds..........Did ya feel my last comment.Maybe thats the attitude others don't cotton to.Anyway, good LuCk to ya.Don't mind me I've been up all night and I'm bored.

My experience with Internet forums has been that people who make big productions out of announcing their departures are mainly looking for people to stroke their egos by pleading with them to not leave.

Those who are truly serious about leaving don't tell everyone about it ... they just go away quietly.

Just sayin' ... :D

Well said!

If you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen or don't let the door hit you on the way out

I prefer the phrase "Don't let the door hit ya, where the good Lord split ya." The meaning is the same, just worded different. :D
