Where did you source the parts from? I am wanting to do a lifted 76 Chevy Stepside but I really don't want to have to scratchbuild it all. As for the suspension on the silverado, I scratch built it using styrene square tubing, a differential from a toyota hilux, kept the stock spindles, control arms and steering stabalizer bar (too keep the right track width). Its independent suspension using "drop spindles" with stock style torsion bars. (The pics show coil overs, but I changed that to the torsion bar setup. I wish my mud came out that good. If you like lifted trucks check out the older 4x4/lifted trucks post. It has a lot from all of us. Also check out my buddy Mudpit602's truck under glass. To me, made all the more believable by the forked up redneck lift! The Ford to me was even more believable, with the house in the back ground. A+! SCARY STEERING!!
