wgflatliner Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Here's my rendition of the strange but attractive looking aqua rod. i did chrome yellow fading to fluorescent red tamiya spray on the frame, fins on the headlights, and the rear tanks. metallic black body and pontoons. i only did minor work to the motor - plug wires/boots. here ya go!
Stang67 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Nice engine detail! These little kits are fun! Nice work.
70elcamino Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 You did great, this is one of those kits that is fun to do and everyone will put their own spin on it. Russell
Railfreak78 Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 I love the color! kick tail build there!
Joe Handley Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 looks good, too bad there aren't any turbo'd Sube -6's in plastic or Resin to stick in that too.
Bernard Kron Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 The fade paint job really amps up the impact. Super color choices, detailing and execution all add up to a great model.
wgflatliner Posted February 13, 2010 Author Posted February 13, 2010 some people say that the rear tanks remind them of the 5 hour energy bottles. i thought that was pretty funny
