cargostar Posted September 2, 2011 Author Posted September 2, 2011 The best starting point would be the 4300 Transtar.
cargostar Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 Yes, eventualy there will be other hoods mastered to do the complete "i" cab line up. 9200I, 9400I, 9900I, 9900IX, 5900I, etc.
cargostar Posted October 19, 2011 Author Posted October 19, 2011 Soon, soon..... Just taking a break from it because a couple of details are fighting me.
mikemodeler Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 There are a couple of cabs I am interested in, you still working on the Travelall kit too? Do you accept payments other than PayPal? I don't have a PayPal account but am thinking about purchasing a couple of pieces.
BigBad Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Darn, this is getting as exciting as Moebius announcements! You're doing a great job on those parts Dave!
Kostas Parchas Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Dave I have 2 questions, 1st, have you done any progress on the prosleeper? 2nd, Dave Metzner from Moebius models just announced that they doing a prostar, as far as you know in real life, do the lonestar and the prostar share the same cab? Will your Lonestar day cab be used with the Prostar or you will make a new daycab for the Prostar?? Greetings from Athens, Kostas.
cargostar Posted October 25, 2011 Author Posted October 25, 2011 Yes, they share the same cab. It will require a different day cab, as the Lonestar has the panels directly in front of the doors (where the air cleaners mount) molded as part of the cab, while the Prostar does not have those panels. Yes, I will be doing one. At the moment, the 9400I is taking priority,, as i finally have a couple bugs worked out of the cab master.
Jim B Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Will the 9400i use the LoneStar/ProStar chassis? Is that the best doner kit for that?
cargostar Posted October 25, 2011 Author Posted October 25, 2011 The Transtar 4300 is going to be the easiest frame to use
cargostar Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 Here is an update for this weekend..... First cab pour.
Jim B Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I like it. Now the 9400 isn't offered anymore correct? Only the 9900, right?
cargostar Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 The 9200I, 9900I, and the 9900Ix are still offered.
