I like how this thing is coming together! She's definitely different, that's for sure. I love the pack of smokes!

You should get a driver figure for it with a big ol' mullet. Maybe with the lightning bolts shaved into the side. :)

You ever seen the movie "Joe Dirt"?

I know how you feel - I think!?!?

As a 1:1 car I hate it, but I think Janne's doing a GREAT job building the model!

WHOA!!!

Now we know what it'd look like of JC Whitney ever exploded!

I have worked as an installer for many years, working with car dealers and individual owners, occasionally run into guys who don't know how to resist shiny objects... like the guy who had the red '87 Chevy shortbed pickup/campershell, with three tachometers... two digitals and a Sun Supertach... plus velour seatcovers inside. It got worse. Add fender skirts, two lines of Silverado trim, four exterior mirrors, abut a half-dozen antennas, many fog lights and driving lights, PLUS chrome slot mags and wide whitewalls! Woof!

Terrible, completely tasteless, nightmare-inducing Ford, beautifully assembled and executed.

This is very nice build, I mean you are building very nicely. And Aftashox, yes on the early 80's Finnish guys drove cars like this. There's a link to Finnish Nostalgia Racing Association and the second picture, Olds is built 80's style. And yes two guys were pushing the car fron side to side on burnouts! I can't stand, why is that... Some problems to make that link working so it's this:http://www.nosdrags.net/fnra/kuvagalleria_4.html

Very creative,Now the question I have for you,Is the Body Brush Painted? If so I would like to know how you got the paint so smooth,This car is so ugly it's beautiful,And fun to look at!

Wayne: No i have not watch it. Just Checked some trailers about it.

Aftashox: Yes there was almost similar style cars, but this is more like caricature. Kind of custom mix how someone did build U.S, Japanese, European etc cars. There is all that nice junk together :D

Mr.Gibson: Yes it is Brush painted. Pictures just make it look better ;)

Thank you for comments. Update in next week... Perhaps B)

What a unique style. Kinda reminds me of cruising Main Street in Salinas, California in the early 80's. Nearby was Fort Ord Army base. The soldiers were from many different parts of the country, and they would bring their cars to the cruise on Friday and Saturday night. The styles were so different than "ours". Most of them had the rear-end of their cars "jacked-up", compared to ours where the stance was more conservative, and "right".

They also tended to put lots of parts-store accessories all over their cars. Dare to be different indeed.

Thanks for the pictures of your progress.

Thank you guys. B)

Modelhut: Yes this is kind of mix of differend styles from 80`s. Things what guys did for cars. Hot rodding like ready for streets and ready for strip. Thats why there is racing helmet in front and that elefant in backseat ;) Sometimes you got almost too much ideas for one build, have to leave something away.

Here is update, i am getting close to final assembly.
