charlie8575 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 For the last several months, I've been having a problem. It appears that eBay has seen fit to copy-proof every single photograph it has. I cannot get any pictures to copy. Many times, the option isn't even avaiable, and when it is, it's screwed up and doesn't work. I've been told I might be able to save the Internet pages, but it creates folder upon folder of information and simply takes up too much room on my memory stick. My experiences have also show that if the page is removed, even if saved, it can't be reopened. Anyone? Charlie Larkin
diymirage Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 try hitting print screen and then open a word document and hit paste it just might work but im not making any promises
Zoom Zoom Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I found that on Firefox, but if I open it in IE8 the pictures can be saved in the normal fashion.
Junkman Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Once you see the pictures on your screen, you HAVE them already, copyright poof scam, or not. Same with right click disabled. If you can see a picture, you HAVE it downloaded onto your machine. Go to temporary internet files, search for the pic and save it - done.
Casey Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 The only pics on eBay I can't copy are those which are hosted by Auctiva and are image protected. Otherwise, it's right-click and Save.
MrObsessive Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 For those of you with Vista Home Premium, there's always the "snipping tool" accessory to grab pics that are "copyright protected".

Does anyone know if that works with Windows 7 or not? My next computer most likely will have that. Yes, Bob, I use Firefox. Internet Explorer on this computer is so screwed up, it won't even load. I wonder if Google Chrome has the same problems? I'll give it a try and report back. Charlie Larkin
Harry P. Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 You can always save any image you see on screen by taking a "screen shot" or "screen grab."
Tijuanataxi Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Exactly, "Print screen" - paste it in a photo editing program (Like Paint shop pro) - cut and save.... No prob... If you can see the pic, you can get it....
RyanSilva Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Like Bob said, IE will let ya save them with the simple right click save-as. Snipping tool in vista/7 works great for webshots.com!
Rat Fink Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Something I sometimes do while in shops is take a picture of the photo with a digital camera, works great.
