It must have been 15 years back at a swap meet in Grayslake I yhink. I can't remember what the model was now that my friend bought but he paid like 150 dollars for it and when he ripped the plastic off standing right there at the table to look inside I thought the seller was going to have a heart attack!!!

Jumped out of the chain and yelled "what are you doing???" and started to hyperventilate! My fried said "I'm going to build it!!!" the guy turned white as a sheet! B)

I guess there is one born every minute.

I paid 425.00 2 years ago for a sealed Aurora VooDoo Vega AA/FC. This is not a common kit in that condition at all and a grail of mine. I happened to be pretty solvent at the time so I bit and bought it. Looking back on it I think I got a pretty fair deal. I got the kit I wanted in a condition better than I'd required. I wasn't nervous opening it. I desperately wanted to make sure everything had survived all those years sealded up. I'm happy to say they did. I promptly sold the decals for a tidy sum since I'm am actually building a Jungle Jim car with this kit. In actuality, I will probably not even use the kits chassis. I have plans on scratchbuilding one that's more accurate to a JJ car.

Would I pay it again? Perhaps... Depending on how my resources were at the time I came across it.

Is the Aurora kit rarer than that AMT Nova? Yes it is.

Is that AMT Nova kit someones grail? Perhaps.

But this guy? He's off his rocker.

So what if somebody wants to sell something and hope to sell it, who are you to judge them? I remember you doing wrong, you got a little flack from it, but not what ya should have gotten. Talking bad about this site, on another if i am right.

I just can not understand why ya want to say somebody is stupid, when you have no room to talk.

You want to know what is stupid, the way you talk, or i guess the way you type. The words you use are "stoopid". You put people down for what they are, how they talk, and what they do. Were all different, so be it. But when ya make a post like this about somebody, it is wrong. Don't say somebody is "stoopid" it is wrong. I could bring up many post's where you look STUPID but i won't, you , me and many others see and know it.

How would you feel if you were selling, posting, what ever it may be, and somebody made a post like this about you. You would feel bad, and you know it.

Let people be, and do what they want, how they want. You talk all goofy on here, i and others hate it, but we have to let it be.

I just think this post is in bad taste, and what comes around goes around, you will get yours for it.

No hard feelings to you, but just think sometimes before ya post.

I admire the seller's spunk. Lots of ideas are dismissed as lunacy, right up until they pay off.

If the seller is in fact participating here, let's not nuke the guy...just drop it and enjoy the next 22 days waiting to see how things turn out.

I'd hate to see this thread turn foul over something somebody is trying to sell on the 'bay.
