brett Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 First off I DONT care if the bodylines not right, If I wanted everything right I'ld never get anything done lol. Now pretty much a box stocker( going back to basics) changed the front ride hieght and swapped stock wheels out for some Keystone Klassics. Paint is Duplicolor (I think Tropicana) Green from the rattle can and Dupont black through the airbrush.Building as a well maintained driver not a trailer queen show car.
Deckerz Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 looks nice, the paints nice and smooth, i like the fat tyres, gives it that old skool muscle look, those exhausts just finish the look. i like it all so far.
mikelo Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Looking good so far. I really like that color! So that is the "old" Revelogram one? It doesn't lok too bad now does it?lol. I have one too and people ask me how I fixed it when they see it. looks great so far. The only suggestion I can make, if you let me, it the flat black goes back on top of the door, below the quarter window and all the way back to the roof post. Keep us updated on this one please. Mike
george 53 Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Hey Brett, IT'S YOURS! Who cares what anyone else thinks!!! I like the color myself! An Deckerz is right, them big ol fatties look RIGHT at home on it! Keep it goin Bro, it's lookin good!!!

jedimastergary Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Looks good nice color and the tires give it the right muscel car look hate skinny back tires no traction
brett Posted April 18, 2010 Author Posted April 18, 2010 didnt get as much done as I woulda liked ,wifeys todo list then visitors, however some time is better than no time. wasnt going to wire it ,then did anyway. Need to dullcoat the interior green, just leaving it a day or two to harden first. did some detail painting on the fiewall and the battery thanks for the comments

AlanNZ Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Looks nice Brett, I like the green. I'm not much of a green person but that looks nice.
brett Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010 cleared over decals yesterday and foiled (my least favorite part) tonight as you can see the decal on the right hand side has slipped down a bit without me noticing but it doesnt look to bad ,not bad enough that I want to strip it at the moment anyway.
mikelo Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 looking good so far. I remember those decals being a pain too. the black looks good on that green. Did you use BM on the trim? Looks like a really good job. Mike
brett Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 thanks guys, Mike yes it is BMF , not my favorite job but it does add heaps to the model. 006 had to check but looks like I just used a rough (ish) file just enough to hit the seam went both across and then along. Did the same on the sump too but went over with a finer then finer still sanding stick, hth's. Got glass installed tonight so wont be long now
crazyjim Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Good looking 'Cuda, Brett. Will be watching "Under glass" for your completed build.
