Thought you might like to see something a little different. It started as a chevy cabriolet with a highly modified 32 switchers top added.

I'm glad you guys like it. The headers are Jo-Han mopars. The cheater slicks are prob 40 yr old pie crusts (You got these in all the kits then) that I cut on a drill with a razor saw.

The headers are the fenderwell units from the JoHan Mopes, the ones from the 64 Dodge I would imagine, they're in the 64 Dodge "Recharged"kit. The body is the old MPC 32 chevy Cabriolet with the roof added! I know caz I gave him the idea! But HIS turned out REALLY GREAT. Me, and Chuck Most are building one too, but seein as how i can't post pics You'll just hafte see theirs to get the idea of what we were tryin to accomplish. Gotta admit his DID come out really nice, din't it? Great build, Bill, as usual!laugh.gifbiggrin.gifwink.gif

Excellent build from one end to the other. A lot of work to convert the Roadster into a coupe. Color combinations work extremely well together. One to be proud of for sure.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. They're very much appreciated. Now that I managed to make a chevy coupe, I'm thinkin bout maybe tryin to convert something else into a chevy. Haven't figured out what yet though. Maybe a sedan or phaeton.

And now for something somewhat different ! I noticed thr Front wheels are from a '32 Ford ? Is this build on a Ford Chassis ? It has the everyday SBC , well done version . I like the pie crust tires . Nice build . Thanx .. :o:):P

Thanks John and others. It IS sitting on a 32 ford frame with ford wheels, but rather than the buggy spring suspension I made duel leaf springs like chevy's used. It's not a SBC though John, it's a nailhead Buick:lol::lol:
