Well she's kinda old now (10 this year!), but it's the only Hemi I've got built in my collection! :D

Yes, it still has the infamous "wrong" wiper motor! Those of you who were around years ago when I built this, will remember the firestorm that this caused in SA and my response! :)

I think this is a 426 in my Revell '32 Ford.

Sam...what you have there is probably a 392 Hemi.....an easy way to tell is that the earlier Hemi's up to 392 had the distributor on the back of the block. The 426 has it on the front....there are other differences as well and many folks confuse the two simply because of the big valve covers. They are both Chrysler Hemi's but different engines!

Not sure about Buick but Lincoln did and a few found their way into some pretty potent '59 T-Birds that Holman Moody built and raced. I may just have one. :P

Yep, the Buick 430 made it's debut in the 1967 Buicks, replacing the 425 Nailhead, (which we all missed yesterday!!! :P ). I had a 1/1 67 Riviera with the 430. The engine was produced from 1967-1969, before being bored out to 455 CI for the 1970 model year.

:D

Thanks Mark....I wasn't sure about the Buick version...I think Luke is right about the lincoln 430 as well....wasn't it called the "MEL".....[merc, edsel, lincoln] engine or something?..
