davyou5 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Whats helped me with placing the BMF with a Q-tip is getting it alittle damp and then lightly rubbing on the area's that you want it to cover, I only say this if you can not afford anything else at the moment, also it being damp really helps with keeping the cotton from rubbing off on the edges, but only alittle.
mikeD1 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 what green is that? who makes it? thanks mike i love them!!!
crazyjim Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Wal-Mart, K-Mart, CVS, Walgreens - they all carry cosmetic tips things. They're pointy on one end and rounded on the other. They're about the same length as a Q-tip. No shedding either.

Dingo Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Real nice job on the Charger, did U know that the Charger wasn't the film producers first choice, they picked some luxury car to do the chase but it fell apart over the hills and bumps of L.A. so they went to the nearest Chrysler dealer and bought the Charger and man ain't we all glad they did. Dingo
nascarfan Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Ahhh, Bullit one of my favorite movies!! I can hear McQueen constant shifting of the gears and the charger loosing it's hubcaps. Racing thru the streets of san fran. I can also hear the goofy pre chase music................ Great movie and models to!!!!!

davyou5 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 '68 Charger (my favorite of the two) I need to get a new rear window and replace this one, I know, I screwed up. I took this to show how I do my vinyl tops not that I have many trucks that require them. Allright I am going to reup this topic because I have just now finished watching this movie. And I thought the Car chase was one of the best that I have seen from a 1960's movie . Man that Charger was Sweet, too bad it had to be destroyed though. Makes me wonder if any company would end up producing a Kit set of both cars!

I just watch the film, it is a really good movie, and yes you can hear the screaming of the cars racing down those SanFransisco Streets, oh my gosh that was Awesome . And now that I am thinking about it, the Mustang when switching gears had some sort of double sound what is that about?
Nick Winter Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 Well it took a while to do, mostly due to a set of missing door handles, the ones on it came from the UK old engine pic (it hasn't changed)
Del Austin Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Nice pair of builds! I have a few models "done" but needing the BMF added. I'll get it right someday and finish a few.
crazyjim Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Double sound, David? Probably McQueen goosing the trottle to keep the RPMs up. Sounds cool, huh?
davyou5 Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Double sound, David? Probably McQueen goosing the trottle to keep the RPMs up. Sounds cool, huh? Yeah it was cool but at the same time it was weird , but whatever, the chase scene was awesome!
W-409 Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Nice models! This would be nice to see built like diorama. You know, what I mean? But those models are looking very good!
Blake Rogers Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 BMF: they are now BMFed although I need a '68 Charger Passenger door handle. for now here's the Mustang
