So this is going to be my first no instruction kit bash hope it goes well, so far so good,

I found the shell in a box of parts started doing some filler work then decided it looked lonely!

So I set it up on a date with a ford nascar chassis :)

and a 427 HUGE BLOCK (hand made block) 427 dual carburator intake manifold, randomly selected ford valve covers (possibly replaced by something that whistles in the near future) :o

They get along quite well so far more progress to come

My thoughts aswell so far it's a toss up between prostreet or, touring so far I am leaning towards touring haven't tried 1 before and it's time for a change

if you go for the pro touring look, the rhd would be a sweet touch.

I like this guy already I just recently found a spare RHD dash from an evo and yes I am now on the touring route ph34r.gif

So after a trip to Tim Horton's I decided to put some work into this so far I have shaved the EVO dash, cut out the hood, found a set of wheels with some admirable dish, painted the fuel cell, paint the chassis, found then fabricated some rear spring (they do work), and also made my own rear end and painted that aswell onto das pics

Also picked this up from a swap meet for $5 and also found a truck that I am going to paint to match the car and possibly make a trailer for :D

Cool project you got there, but..... A rhd dash?? Have you guys driven a rhd car? It's strange sitting on the "wrong" side driving. And for me, it was when a friend and me went to England in '91. We rented a car and took off.... It felt really weird at first, but I got into it- sort of, after a couple of hours.

Ok, the Corvette Summer car I made a model of was rhd.

I have never even been in a RHD vehicle sadly enough, but wanted to do something a little out of the ordinary with this B)

It IS really weird driving a rhd car. About 10 years ago I used to work at a shop in St Charles IL (while I was going to tech school) and this Saturn wagon used to come in all the time for oil changes. The guy used it for newspaper deliveries or something and it was right hand drive.

I had to take it extra easy with that thing! Always felt like I was gonna crash into the lift pulling it in.

It was a lot weirder feeling than I expected it to be. Kind of like trying to cut your own hair using 2 mirrors...

I love the hood on this one! I don't recall having seen one like it before.

Looks like a bone stock 69-70 Shelby hood, with a hole cut in it to clear the carbs...

Here's an ex-gf of mine's '70 GT500.

Chuck has a point lol and the hood was cut out and will possibly be fitted with a hood scoop, need alot of room for the TWINS

Dude... if she had a Shelby... why's she your ex!?

LOL Well, it was her decision to split, but that turned out to be a real good thing. Sure wish I could drive the car again though... ;)

And then there was the girl with the supercharged 07 Mustang GT/CS... That one didn't work out well either.

Glad my current girl doesn't have a Mustang.

So after the gf went home I did some work such as installing the rear end scratch building bars painting them, even added springs to the front first time ever adding springs to a build and I love it , then I adjusted the ride height, painted the engine, added a transmission that is a perfect fit, scratch built a fuel rail and painted that a nice purple
