Another Firetruck on the Bench

Well, my modelers ADD kicked in, and the plastic started to fly. This is a Mack/Superior 100' mid-mount aerial. It is one of three identical trucks ordered by Toronto FD.

I don't know why I can't build anything small....

hey dave grew up close to you. westburlington i have question for you my nephew is a lieutenit for the effingham ill. f.d. his mom wan'ts me to build him a copy of his truck it is a seagrave but i can't find one thank you for any help.

The diamond plate is from Don Mills models. I like it because its 0.040" thick, so it can be used as part of the structure. For a Seagrave cab, try Jamie at SSB Resins. He hsa a couple of FDNY style Seagraves.

I'm a former firefighter/EMT and I love seeing projects like this. Being from a small-town where, in 1998, our first-out pumper was either a 1973 Ford C-900 (Town) or a '66 International L1800 (Township) this type and scope of vehicle is still mind blowing.
