Bill Eh? Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Nice clean looking build. Excellent job on the decals. Considering the age of the kit, did you have to clear them first and did you have to use a lot of softener to get them to conform?

Considering the age of the kit, did you have to clear them first and did you have to use a lot of softener to get them to conform? considering the age of decals they was in excellent condition and i only used cold water nothing else. the decals followed the body lines just fine. i could stretch them alittle to. Tamiya other manufacturers should learn from them Good job. Nice to see a Volvo for a change. Thanx now i must find and by the estate also
TurboKitty Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 nice build, I was SOOO Close to winning two eBay auctions for the Tamiya 850 Saloon and the 850 Estate BTCC kits recently, but as usual I got outbid at the last second. Worst part is the seller was only a half hour from me and he said I could pick them up had I won them, saving me the shipping cost too! lol. Is there an engine in either one of these kits?

Both btcc volvos are curbside kits, no full engine
