made007 Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) worked some more under the hood: started on the interior doorpanels, this arent 100% correct, the reference pic i have doesnt show the full striped panel, so i made some drawings looking at the pics and some just using imagination: added more rivets: i did the right side, now i have to do the left and add a few more in the front Edited February 19, 2011 by made007
made007 Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 magnet strips to maintain the door shut: theese magnets strips arent that strong so later i will add another strip on the door instead of a metal piece found the right tire thread, in the movie and specs of the car the rear tire is a little bigger than the front, but i will use same size tires painted the rims, using the salt and hairspray technique, Dr. Cranky again thanks

David G. Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 This would have been impressive as a curbside build, but he ammount of detail you're putting into this will push it over the top! David G.
Foxer Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 The detail you're putting into this is fantastic ... and makes me think you have the 1:1 sitting out in the garage!
made007 Posted March 10, 2011 Author Posted March 10, 2011 The detail you're putting into this is fantastic ... and makes me think you have the 1:1 sitting out in the garage! i wish! LOL
Erik Smith Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I love all hard work you have put into this build. This takes a lot of foresight. Everything is coming together great. I think a somewhat toned down version of the Riviera would make a cool, sinister street car. This is just a cool, sinister street car for a different kind of street. Thanks for taking the time to post as you progress! Genius is 10% talent, 90% sweat!
made007 Posted March 13, 2011 Author Posted March 13, 2011 Roll cage almost done: Base for the tanks: The tanks: Roof mount extinguisher: Smoke, napalm, oil and extinguiser:
