LOL Harry, Seriously Though, see if you can get your hands on some ALCLAD Chrome Paint and paint the kit parts.

Alclad, foil or Chrome-Tech is your options. I've never seen plated bumpers for these.

I've seen 'chomed bumpers' done with them before, I've also seen guys use the bumpers from a Monogram Stock Car kit, but that would probably cost even more than the foil/Alclad/Spazstix solutions already outlined!
