72 Chevelle..Save

Got this one some time back and it needs more than TLC. So here i go and i will try and save the car..

It's sitting in a bath of brake fluid to get the old paint off. Will have pics soon..

Ouch, reminds me of an old AMT '66 Impala I painted some 40+ years ago. Light blue, with all kinds of colors spattered like this. I then made a hole in the backseat, and inserted a firecracker.... I was only 11 or 12....

Good luck fixing up the Chevelle! I'll be following this.

Got it primered and i am now working on the front and rear bumpers..

I got it painted the color is Krylon Yellow with Brown Leather interior.

I have a soft spot for these cars. I had a 1:1 back in the 80's and now a kit to build. Good work pulling this one back from the edge.
