John Teresi Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Hello.......this is something I started today.......will keep you posted if interested.......thank`s
Chuck Most Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 This should be good- I still haven't ripped into any of the 1:12 Revell chopper kits I have!
Modelmartin Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 That should be a very cool project but...can you use any parts from the Revell chopper in it?? Aside from the wheels and maybe a headlight!
Railfreak78 Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Cool project John. Someday I plan on making a Yamaha XJ out of a Virago kit. The inline 4 on this looks pretty good. Do you have a suggestion for a Yamaha inline or would a Honda be ok for a start? I'm watching this unique bike you have here.
Raul_Perez Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 I've seen your motorcycle builds at the NNL West, so I know how well this one will look when its done!! Please keep us posted on your progress. Later,
Romell R Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 John if you do this its gonna make me pull out the chopper I was working on .... I beg you please dont tempt me to do it LOL! Just kidding bro you do yo thang!!! cant wait to see this one and maybe I'll get the inspiration to finish mine.
John Teresi Posted September 1, 2010 Author Posted September 1, 2010 Hello.......I got a little more done today.........frame is almost modified......working on the body now........this is going smother than I thought........first try at a scratch built hexagon oil tank......thank`s for looking........will have more photos tomorrow.
Railfreak78 Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Wow, now that you have posted a pic of the rear of that bike, you can really grasp the crazy angles that you have to capture. Your off to a great start and that rear end picture will surely make everyone realise the true extent of this build.
superdog Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 The body looks like the spaceship stikkin' out of the water on the old "planet of the apes" that's gonna be awesome, can't wait to see it done! Todd

Romell R Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 John you know this is an uncurable sickness that only gets worst as it progresses. And i can already see signs of the advanced stages of the illness, ie. super detailing, superfine airbrushing, winning awards, etc. Ive been looking for a cure but i havent found one as of yet. Looks like were both doomed to be modelers in our old age. LOL! well done my friend superb work!
Clay Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Simply amazing John, I hope to be able to make it to the show to see this.
