Cool project John. Someday I plan on making a Yamaha XJ out of a Virago kit. The inline 4 on this looks pretty good. Do you have a suggestion for a Yamaha inline or would a Honda be ok for a start? I'm watching this unique bike you have here.

Hello.......I got a little more done today.........frame is almost modified......working on the body now........this is going smother than I thought........first try at a scratch built hexagon oil tank......thank`s for looking........will have more photos tomorrow.

Wow, now that you have posted a pic of the rear of that bike, you can really grasp the crazy angles that you have to capture. Your off to a great start and that rear end picture will surely make everyone realise the true extent of this build.

The body looks like the spaceship stikkin' out of the water on the old "planet of the apes" that's gonna be awesome,can't wait to see it done! Todd

Hello......body is just about done.......just a little straight edge sanding.......i`ll be making a scratch built springer front end this weekend......and I decided to add a side car to display with or with out.........thanks for looking.

Hello......I got a few things done today.......the springer is scratch built......I know that one spring is different than the other......I took pictures with the wrong spring......also I would like to note that everything needs to be filled and find sanded.......and checked for straightness ........this is just a mock-up........I scrach built a 1972 CB 750 engine head ........also scratch built seat and kick start......I will work on the pipes and headlights tomorrow......thank`s for looking.

dang there be a lot of angle cuts on that body...betcha it was fun gettin' both sides to match up!

i concur with Raul on the simple paint job that awaits you...:lol:

Hello..........I got the body and some parts primmered with puty and the body sanded with a white base coat.......I airbrushed the stars.......I will put a clear coat on it today ..........and tomorrow I will airbrush the graphics....Thank`s

Hello......I got all the graphics airbrushed........I will be doing the lettering tonight with rub on letters.......and will also be shooting the Alclad ......thank`s for looking.

John you know this is an uncurable sickness that only gets worst as it progresses. B) And i can already see signs of the advanced stages of the illness, ie. super detailing, superfine airbrushing, winning awards, etc. Ive been looking for a cure but i havent found one as of yet. Looks like were both doomed to be modelers in our old age. LOL! well done my friend superb work!
