crazyjim
Very nice build. What flavor red is that?
W-409
Very nice '55 Chevy you have there! Those wheels are perfect choice for this, that paintjob looks good and like that colour combo. Engine looks very nice, and interior is very nice too, great details and that looks better with that top down, I think. Keep on building, you build very nice models and you build them very fast! DRG
I love it with the top down. How in the world do you guys get such great detail in the interior. It all looks so real.
brett
Thanks folks much appreciated. Jim the color is PPG Barroise red metallic (its a late model toyota color ). Sprayed over a gold base. Donald, make sure you prime everything and sand lightly to smooth it (I actually thin my primer a little more for the interior so to not bury any detail). The dash was done with a thin black wash (you can soak up any excess paint with a q tip). Mask off the other color if its a two tone interior and lastly prepare to go cross eyed as you BMF the handles etc.
