Dave Mikrut Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I will be unable to attend the Toledo NNL this year. I have had a stroke. I am still in the hospital and not certain of how much worse this will get but i have lost feeling and mobility of the whole leftside of my body. So far this is the toughest hurtle I have yet to face but I am going to fight until I can no longer fight.

Jantrix Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Dave, I have seen friends and family recover very well from strokes. You should be back at the bench in no time. Best wishes pardner.
Guest Johnny Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Sorry to hear that Dave! Seems to be a lot of this these days at a younger age. Having just recently gone through this with my wife we know what you are going through! Just the fact that you are able to communicate so well is a really great sign! Don't lose faith in yourself and never quit fighting as that is the biggest part of the battle! Give 110% effort (I know that there is no such thing as 110%) but give it anyway!!! to your physical therapy and follow their advise to the letter! It is amazing the strides they have made in stroke treatment and therapy! We will add you to our prayer list as long as needed and pray for your quick and complete recovery!
