70mach1 Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Testors kit. Engine wired and plumbed, refinished in BASF lacquer, DuPont urethane clear coat.
eddie304k Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Nice Ferarri I like the color.I'v noticeed that Ferarris aren't real popular on here.I put one on here and it didn't get much attention.I like them keep on building.
crispy Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Looks good. I've never been a fan of those tires, but you made the car look great. Chris
Shawn Tillotson Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Very nice! I love the underhood detail! I have that kit in the stash and thought about putting it in the sell pile, but my mind has been changed ( stupid ADD). I love the red but I also want another color so as to make the purists angry!
davyou5 Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 I am a Ferrari Fan too, and I think that is an Excellent job there .
Matt Bacon Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 That's a very nice job - I think the 365 GTB Coupe is one of the best of the Italeri Ferraris (though I don't know if it was tooled by them or someone else like Esci or Protar). And you've made a really good job of it, especially that engine bay. When I do mine, I'm going to give the chrome wheels a light coat of matt varnish just to knock the "brightness" back a bit - I think they're the only thing that detract a bit from the realism of this outstanding model... And I think it's GREAT to see more Ferraris... Personally, "European exotics" are all I build. I just can't get excited about Hemis and Offys and Rods... and a _proper_ GTO is made in Modena, not Detroit! bestest, M.
Jeff Johnston Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 wow nice. I always liked the long nosed front ended Ferrari's. Nice job on that one. I built that one years ago... I saw a "real" one driving up the Merrit Parkway in CT a few weeks ago and it reminded me how beautiful these cars were.
