Here is a project i`m doing right now along with my mustang weathering project.

This is going together mostly stock to try to get it done. So this is how long i have come so far.

That stand came with an older issue AMT kit, I just can not remember which one.

I like the sound of your build. Please be sure to share it. I'm especially interested in seeing how you handle the scripts and modifying the hood.

This is an AMT kit that was first issued in the early 1990s, and it's very nice. I'm not sure when it was last re-issued, but it's not too tough to find at shows, eBay, etc.

I found a resin hood on eBay at the suggestion of someone here - hasn't arrived yet though.

I'm hoping to find some photo etched scripts, haven't really looked yet though.

i`m thinking of foiling the script before the color goes on. the script is very small, have to see how that works out.

got the silver base coat painted tonight.

the body got some color and a couple of clear coats. Now i`ll let the paint dry for a week or so. before and sand and do a couple more clear coats and polish.

This color is real hard get in picture.
