This is gotta be one of the nicest kits I've built! Lotsa parts and everything fits together extremely well...had to keep lookin' at the box to make sure it was a Revell kit, not a Fujimi or Hasegawa kit!

Revell has released four of these kits, two Audi's and two Mercedes...this kit is of the Audi Tom Kristensen drove in 2009. I built it to represent the car he drove in the last German DTM race in 2009. Decals are included in kit for this car and the car he drove in all the preceeding races.

Red Paint is Tamiya TS-8 "Italian Red"...perfect match to decal red.

That's a pretty unique rear fender! I never realized DTM allowed such radical cooling measures. That engine cover is also rather different .. more cooling measures? Is the engine viewable once built?

Anyway, great looking build, Curt!

Curt, great job as usual. I have looked at that kit on line and pretty much figured that would be my next purchase. After seeing yours, I know it will be the next kit I get. It looks terrific. I was a little unsure of how the rear fenders would look with that crazy venting "step ladder" but it looks pretty good.
