1949 Ford

DRG

I'm not real sure where I got this but it had already been started when I got it.

Primed everything and then painted it white. had some orange peel to repair and then painted it green.

Not exactly the color I thought it would be but I;m going with it anyway.

Interior same color with dark green accents.

Please feel free to comment pro or con.

Me three. In fact, a black or dark gray interior would be a great way to tone down the bright green overload (body is great, but body + interior, same green = visual overload).

Tell me you're going to call this model "Kermit the Ford." B)

Having already finished the painting I'm kind of stuck with the green.

I actually agree it would have looked better using a Tan or black and White combination.

I appreciate the comments and will take them to heart on the next one.

I don't have any other color to use right now and funds are low.

You can just paint right over the green. If $$$ is an issue, Hobby Lobby carries acrylic craft paints. They come in literally hundreds of colors (HL devotes a whole 1/2 aisle to the display) and they come in 2 oz. bottles, eight times the amount of paint that's in the typical Testors small glass bottles. They carry 5-6 different brands, but they're all basically the same type of paint–acrylic. There also have clear gloss. Depending on the brand, they sell for as little as 67¢ a bottle!
